During structural construction, solid wood beams often present uneven strength due to knot concentration, changing grain direction, and moisture movement after installation. Natural log length also limits available beam size. When producing 10 lvl beam, we grade rotary veneers, align fibers in the same direction, and laminate them through high-pressure hot pressing while maintaining controlled moisture content.
This process forms a continuous load path along the beam length and reduces the impact of natural defects within the timber. The beams are installed in roof framing systems, floor support members, lintels, and light-frame structural buildings. Consistent dimensions and batch stability support project planning and reduce adjustment time during installation.
